3. For safety's sake, we began by disconnecting the negative battery cable. The original cast exhaust manifold was still in place and the stock air-injection reactor tubes were also in place. As you can see, the spark plug wires stuck straight out from the plug. The plug wires had to be modified with an L-type head to work with the new exhaust manifold, but we'll write more about that later in our story. View Related Article
