Next up, the vacuum advance from the distributor is connected to the ‘spark’ vacuum source on the throttle body, while the MAP sensor is attached to the full manifold vacuum port on the right side of the throttle body as close as possible. Note that the MAP sensor is mounted in such a way so that the vacuum port on the sensor is pointed at a downward angle above the vacuum source to prevent any moisture from collecting in the sensor itself.
