Wood is good and Dodge originally used hardwood for the bed crossmembers in their pickups. But time and abuse has created a need to replace that worn-out and crumbling wood with steel replacement parts. Bruce Horkey’s Wood and Parts solved this issue years ago by making original replacement wood crossmembers. Due to recent customer demand, they have developed new steel replacement crossmembers for this popular truck. Made to the correct size with holes to replace the rotted, broken originals, these crossmembers accept the stock-style carriage bolts. Matching skid strips in steel, stainless and mirror finished polished stainless, punched with square holes to replace the original skid strips are also available.
Juliano’s original ’40 Column has evolved into this second-generation unit with a redesigned shift lever mechanism and its internal parts more closely modeled after an original ’40 column and shifter assembly.
The new-gen ’40 column features a spring-loaded shift mechanism with a fulcrum point that provides a mechanical advantage as you move the gear selector up and down, giving the shifter the same feel as the one on a late-model car.
The new columns are also made with steel components that are chrome-plated or can be painted—unlike polished aluminum, which requires maintenance to remain nice looking.
Classic Dash is proud to announce an abundance of new composite instrument panels for ’67-’85 Ford Trucks.
In common with their other molded ABS composite instrument panels, these latest creations are available in three finishes: carbon-fiber, brushed aluminum, or black. All panels are offered in two forms: with or without gauge openings, and with or without gauges. Gauge selection embraces a wide diversity of instruments, including both electrical and mechanical sets. The electrical gauge sets are also supplied with a wiring harness, connecting the gauges to the factory loom, and LED turn signal indicators, and high beam and emergency brake light indicators. These instrument clusters comprise a speedometer, tachometer, volt meter, fuel, oil, and water gauges.
RockSolid Floors announces its RockSolid Polyurea Grey Garage Coat as the ultimate combination of strength and value in shop and garage flooring.
As a One Part Polyurea product, it has a virtually unlimited pot-life, allowing installers as much time as they wish to finish their flooring projects with no waste. Garage CoatPolyurea is 20 times more durable and 98 percent more flexible than epoxy floor paints, ensuring that it won’t crack or peel, while being resistant to salt, oil, gas and other harsh chemicals. It also has ultra low VOCs to make it environmentally friendly. Grey Garage Coat’s unique composition allows it to retain polyurea’s usual 4- to 8-hour cure rate and 24-hour return to service when applied, despite its unlimited pot-life.
Along with this revolutionary polyurea, the Grey Garage Coat package comes with an instructional DVD and booklet, Citric Etch, decorative chip, and the specially-designed RockSolid Floors Foam Roller. This roller is the key to creating the exact thickness needed for optimal performance, providing the most professional finish available.
For additional gloss and protection, the RockSolid Polyurea Diamond Coat can be used as a topcoat for the Grey Garage Coat. While Diamond Coat protection is ideal, the Garage Coat is a single layer product with the primer already built in, so it doesn’t necessarily require any additional sealer or topcoat.
