If you have not already measured the distance between the pivot point and the adjuster on both tie rods, now is the time to do it. Unthread each tie-rod end from the adjusting sleeve and install the new tie-rod ends. For this application, the inner tie-rod ends are '71 C10 1/2-ton items while the outer tie-rod ends are a match to the '72 C10 spindles used. A little grease on the new tie-rod end threads makes installation and future adjustment/removal a snap. View Related Article
