Barry Grant released the revolutionary Triple D Induction AeroRam intake manifold for the small-block Chevy last year, offering the opportunity, by use of an intake flange adaptor, to be able to run the BadMan Inline 4 Barrel; three, four, or six Demon 98 carburetors; three SixShooter 2 barrels; and dual or single quads; all on the same manifold. Now the same manifold is available to fit Ford 289-302 based engines as well as the 351 Windsor. Tuned equal-length runners keep cylinders working in unison for increased power to 6,500 rpm. Whichever carburetor package you opt for, they'll deliver both great throttle response and big top-end power.

EngineQuest is best known as a manufacturer of hard-to-find new and remanufactured engine parts, though of course once those parts are assembled into engines, they have to be started, so the company has introduced the Engine Pre-Luber kit that effectively and quickly pressurizes oil systems to eliminate dry engine starts. Pre-lubing prevents damage to internal engine bearings, crankshafts, camshafts, and valvetrains. Pressurizing the oil system prior to startup is especially helpful for motors that have been warehoused or operated in cold weather conditions where startup is difficult. The Pre-Luber mounts to the oil pressure sending unit and holds up to five quarts of oil, works with crank and chain driven oil pumps, and is sold complete with all mounting adaptors and hoses.

The most noticeable advancement with the new Ultra Pro Magnum rocker arms is their nearly unbreakable investment-cast 8650 chrome-moly body. The arched, web-like design delivers an almost 29% increase in strength and rigidity. The resulting rocker maximizes lift and valvetrain control at high rpm. With the current popularity of traditional three-bolt steering wheel designs, it's great to see Flaming River Industries has released an aluminum adapter that enables them to fit Flaming River tilt steering columns. The FR3302 series wheel adapters are machined from 6061 billet aluminum, polished to a high luster, and mount those traditional wheels with a smooth and seamless appearance. The series of adapters includes one to fit a Flaming River tilt column, another to fit a Flaming River Mustang splined tilt column, and even one for an original GM column.

One of the most common frames to adapt to a classic truck, in particular the '47-55 Chevy AD, is the S-10 platform. If you're looking to replace the trailing arm suspension on your 1963-72 C10 pickup with something a little less, uh, rudimentary, check out KP Components' bolt-on four-link and cantilever suspension system. With an adjustable Panhard rod it offers excellent ride quality with maximum suspension drop, yet provides over 10 inches of travel. With a durable powdercoated finish, Slam Specialties RE7 airbags, new shocks, Grade 8 mounting hardware, and detailed instructions, all you have to do is remove your old trailing arms and bolt the KPC kit in place. Here's a chicken-and-egg question for ya. What came first, big-inch wheels or big brakes? The wheels look kinda stupid without big brakes behind 'em and the brakes usually won't fit behind 15-inch rims.
