1946 Ford F100 Stretched Sheetmetal Repair Fender Bender

The first task towards repairing the fender was to straighten the wavy lip. This was done by laying the panel face down on a perfectly flat steel surface (actually the chassis table at Circle City Hot Rods) and hammering the lip until it touched the table all the way around. The F-1 fender has a wire-rolled lip. This job would be slightly more difficult with a regular folded fender lip. View Related Article
