1947-1953 Chevy Truck No Limit Engineering Flip Hood Kit Install - Flipped Out

Check to make sure the hinge has been placed directly in the center of the hood, and the holes are marked accordingly, in terms of keeping the hinge straight. Installing the hinge anywhere but center will throw off alignment. Do not drill the forward holes at this point.

Bolt the upper hinge to the hood via the slotted holes. From there, install the hinge brace to the upper hinge...

...When doing so, be sure the offset hole is towards the front of the hood, this too has to do with alignment.

The third piece, the lower hinge plate, bolts below the latch on the core support. Mike removed the latch and installed the hinge plate.

Before the hood can be installed, the new roller tracks need to be in place. The tracks install in the two rearward fender mounting holes. Be sure to install the provided spacers, and the tracks are left/right hand specific as well. When installing the tracks, the No Limit scripture should be facing away from one another.

Now the fun begins, installing and aligning the hood...

...First up, grab an extra set of hands, then bolt the hood brace to the lower hinge via the 5/16-inch bolts provided.

Here you can see that the initial test run is pretty close. To further fine tune the hood, try sliding the hood via the slotted mounting holes on the upper hinge plate. Once the front to rear alignment is set, drill the other two holes out on the upper hinge...

...If the alignment, dealing with the No Limit products, is tapped out, the other way to make up slight miscues is to adjust the fender alignment.
