MSD Distributor - Y-Blocks Forever



Msd Spark Plugs
Adhering to the Y-block's firing order (see our chart in photo number 2) we installed the MSD spark-plug wires with the number ID tags that came with the MSD spark-plug wires.		 Msd Id Tags
MSD includes a handy tool that makes short work out of installing the number ID tags.		 Msd Align
Perhaps we are victims of too much potty training as child, but we carefully aligned the eight spark-plug wires evenly, with the numbers viewable from the passenger-side of the engine.
Msd 1957 Motor
Here's a shot of our '57 T-Bird motor with the complete MSD treatment, including their super-hot spark Blaster 2 coil. In a future issue we will test the MSD dizzy (that's cool talk for distributor) dropped-in our 272 with a before and after dyno-run comparison.
