Snap-on Tools Company has announced the national introduction of its new 73-inch-wide Classic 96 Wide Guy tool storage roll cab. The roll cab carries a variety of impressive features, including a full bank of extra-wide 50-inch drawers. The Classic 96 Wide Guy maximizes drawer space, making organization of long extensions, pry bars, or whole families of tools in the same drawer easy. Five of the six extra-wide drawers feature double-ball-bearing slides and four reinforced bottom stiffeners to hold 250 pounds of tools each. Overall, the unit is more than 73 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 39 inches high, and its 12 drawers offer 33,116 cubic inches of storage. From TP Tools is the TP-200 bead roller. The new roller will easily add a half-round bead line to metal or aluminum by simply feeding the material into the bead mandrels while cranking the handle. By moving and turning the material while feeding, you can create custom-curved bead lines, flames, and other unique designs in your firewalls, truck beds, floorpans, interior dashes, or race car panels. Plus, these beads will add strength and stiffen the panel. By using optional mandrels, you can make larger beads (up to 1/2-inch wide) or create an offset flange on the edge of the metal for flush panel replacement. The optional slitting/shearing mandrel will slit and cut metal for custom applications. The TP-200 is made in the USA by TP Tools and features an adjustable top shaft assembly with tension screw adjustment for starting your bead in the center of a panel and for different bead depths. Heavy-duty ductile iron framework construction resists flexing, and the 20-inch throat enables a bead to be placed in the center of a 40-inch panel. Large 1-inch-diameter shafts with 2-inch-diameter mandrels and torque action gears, plus an extra-long crank handle, give the proper leverage needed to feed metal through the mandrels with maximum ease and minimal effort. The TP-200 is capable of beading, flanging, or slitting materials up to 18 gauge, and features built-in bench-mounting feet and a carrying handle for convenience.
