Once the Ford bezel was thoroughly washed and dried with a micro-fiber cloth and compressed air, we used Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer to restore the natural semi-gloss finish of a new part. I noticed the thickness of the flange on the stock gauges and the Dakota Digital gauges varied by about a quarter inch.  This difference meant the...  This difference meant the original Ford screws would bottom out and break the stock Ford bezel if something wasn't corrected. We applied oil to the stock screws to ease reuse. The modified cable guides were held square with one hand while the other hand carefully tightened down the stock screws.  We used a Sharpie to repaint...
