Not Exactly Axl Rose
Brothers Classic Chevy & GMC Truck Parts has new custom-dropped axles that are specifically designed for your classic '47-59 pickup. The axle's center section is constructed of 2-inch DOM tubing, while the ends are CNC-milled from solid steel. These axles will give you a 3-inch drop without modification to your steering or leaf springs, thus keeping your stock suspension travel. Includes tie plates that have been laser-cut and CNC-bent for an exact fit. Call 800-977-2767 or visit www.brotherstrucks.com.
BG Fuel Systems has upgraded its troublesome Gerotor fuel pumps with a new twin-spur gear design. The new King Sumo QQM fuel pump (Quiet, Quality Mesh), the first of four models, generates 75 psi with an electrical draw of fewer than 20 amps. Like its predecessor, the QQM is equipped with a continuous-duty fuel-cooled motor and suits applications with 750-2,000 horsepower. It contains a built-in cleanable, pleated stainless steel fuel filter, which features a unique dry-break arrangement. This eliminates the need to drain the fuel tank while inspecting or servicing the filter. Additionally, this precision-machined, billet-aluminum pump contains no shaft seals, eliminating fuel leaks.
