Creation and customization of the F-100 SuperNationals giveaway truck is ongoing at No Limit Engineering in San Bernardino, California. Every time we visit No Limit's founder Rob MacGregor and crew--Carrie, Tim, Carlos, and Mike--we're bedazzled by their fabrication skill and artistry. We come away from the shop itchin' to get wrenchin' on our own project trucks.
During our last visit, several days before Halloween, we photographed business as usual at No Limit. One technician was assembling the Effie's front sheetmetal. Another was fabricating custom running boards. The job of installing Pro's Pick custom aluminum power-actuated twin tonneaus rested on the shoulders of Rob. We know from experience that Pro's Pick of Fergus, Ontario, Canada, manufactures awesome vintage pickup products. Unlike some manufacturers, they'll provide custom components to customer specifications. When Rob contacted them seeking an aluminum power-actuated twin tonneau cover for the F-100 uperNationals giveaway truck, they said sure. Despite the fact that this would be Pro's Pick's first twin tonneau cover ever produced, they quickly filled Rob's order to his specifications for the Ford Racing-themed hauler. All the components comprising the twin tonneau cover are top-notch. The covers themselves have a beefy boxed aluminum frame sheathed with thick-gauge, but lightweight, aluminum. These covers reside in and hinge from aluminum hinges/driprails, which are fastened with professional construction-grade fasteners. So fasten your form in your best-fitting lounge chair after getting an ice-cold beverage from the fridge, and learn how to cover your pickup's bed with an all-aluminum power-actuated twim tonneau from Pro's Pick. You'll be glad you did.
