Six-Speed Switch Out
You can now save time and money by switching out your Ford T5 transmission with Rockland Standard Gear's new T56 six-speed replacement. The trannys are designed for Ford 305, 351, and 4.6L engines, with minor adjustments to the driveshaft, crossmember, and exhaust for 302 applications. The T56 conversion allows you to gain a lower first gear ratio for better take offs and comes with closer gear spacing. You'll also see an improvement in gas mileage due to the higher overdrive ratios: 2.97, 2.07, 1.43, 1.00, 0.80, and 0.62. It also comes with a 10-spline output shaft and a 31-spline output shaft, and is available in three models: standard mechanical speedo, 4.6L mechanical speedo, and 4.6L electronic speedo.
