One of the first steps listed in the instruction manual is to determine the location of the controls. That makes sense because you’re going to have to live with the unit every time you drive, so you might as well make it convenient. This is the blower speed switch and the selector switch (this unit has A/C, a fan, heat, and defrost). To keep the controls within easy reach of the driver, we needed to lengthen the wires about 6 inches. Stickers are used to indicate fan speeds and selection of A/C, heat, fan, or defrost.
