As most of you out there probably already know, the 2013 SEMA Show kicked off today and there were some really exciting things to take a gander at. We stopped by ACCEL Performance Group's booth to witness an unveiling that we were told would catch our eye. They were absolutely right. When the tarp was removed from the vehicle, we saw a beatiful 1966 Chevrolet Suburban. There were lots of, "wows" and "oh my's" as everyone started clapping for this amazing project.
To start, this truck's paint was incredible. It was a custom mixed green which they called, "Mr. Gasket Green." and was done by Charley Hutton. The look of the truck was something that looked cool to cruise around the coast with so the subtleties of the truck reflected that sort of lifestyle. This truck screamed custom from its shaved door handles, modified grille, smooth and tucked front bumper, to its custom interior that featured an aluminum center console.
Underneath the hood this truck had a GM ZZ454 crate motor which mods include: Performance CAM, roller rockers and ACCEL Thruster EFI. A 4L85 transmission gets the Billet Specialites wheels moving and everything sits on a FAST TRACK chassis built by Roadster shop.
Don't take our word for it though, take a look for yourself!
