I haven't heard a peep since about Boyd's old '88 GMC, but I've always believed it was his truck that was the "Typhoid Mary" of the sport truck movement, and the C1500 was the very first sport truck. As far as sporty trucks go, I'd have say Chevrolet didn't build anything worth mentioning until 1955 when they introduced their first truck available with a Chevrolet small-block V-8 ... 23 years after Ford introduced their V-8 powered pickup known as the world's first "hot rod truck."-John Gilbert
