Dear CCT,
Just had to send this picture to you. Don't have a clue what it is, but it has been there a long time. I was visiting Oklahoma and found this parked out in the field at a cousin's house outside Salina, Oklahoma, way off the beaten path. I was down there in 1995 and don't remember seeing it then, but we hadn't bought our custom classic truck yet, so things like this didn't catch my eye as much. There are trees growing out of the front and the bed of the truck. Hope you can use it.

Brian, my husband showed me how to send the picture. I hope you can use it in your magazine. We really like the pictures of old abandoned vehicles.
Sincerely,
Karen Frates

Editor's note: We're a bit baffled as well. It could be a late-'30s-era Chevy or Dodge. From the side perspective and considering how much of the truck is missing, it's tough to say what exactly it is. We're guessing there are many readers who can identify the patina pickup. Drop us a line, either via snail mail or electronic, and clue us in. Karen and hubby, thanks for the cool photo!
