What kind of a pickup truck do you think a professional over-the-road truck driver would own? A darn nice one! John and Susan Brown just couldn’t own a cookie-cutter truck, so they purchased this ’55 Ford almost complete in 1995 and proceeded to customize it to suit them.

They added the flames and pinstriping, the interior, the bedcover, new rims, and more. The Centari paint is a custom blend of Freightliner Yellow (of course!) with Dark Grape flames (and a hot pink overlay) from Rene’s Custom Graphics in Lindsay, California. Another eye- catcher? Tru-Spoke wheels, something you don’t see very often anymore on custom trucks, and this pickup sure looks good with them. Maybe a new/old trend will take over again.
