Anthony Miller wrote us to show off his ’78 F-250 after reading one of the Hot Rod Hauler installments. A 460ci Ford motor with a Lunati cam and Weiand Stealth Ram intake topped by a Holley carb powers Anthony’s Ranger Lariat SuperCab shortbed. The transmission is a TCI Street Fighter C6 with a B&M HoleShot torque converter. He got his Ford sitting right thanks to modified 3-inch–dropped I-beams up front with shackles and hangers dropping the rear a full 4 inches. Shaved emblems, a louvered tailgate, and silver and blue two-tone paint complete the overall vibe.
Editor’s Note: Getting your truck into Readers’ Trucks is a snap, of the camera, that is. All it takes are a few good-quality photos of your ride that are in focus and well lit. High-resolution digital photos can be sent in via email to: email@example.com. Traditional prints are also acceptable and should be sent to: CCT, c/o Readers’ Trucks, 1733 Alton Parkway, Suite 100, Irvine, CA 92606. It is important that you include a detailed description of the modifications you have made to your truck, including any interesting stories behind it. Due to the volume of mail we receive, we regret that we cannot return photographs.
