Carl Narehood, of Karthaus, Pennsylvania, bought his ’55 first-series Chevy fifty miles from his hometown back in 1999. The minute he got the pickup home, he began tearing her apart, anticipating the upgrades she’d be receiving. First up on the list was a bolt-in Mustang II IFS and a ’76 Nova rearend. A 350ci Corvette engine soon followed, topped with an Edelbrock 600-cfm carb. The blue and white two-tone paint scheme wasn’t far behind before the cab was finished with a set of VDO gauges and custom interior. Carl tells us the truck is very roadworthy now with all the upgrades he’s made over the two years it took to complete the project. Nice job Carl!
