This '82 Chevy has been in Karl and Jan Wilcox's family since it was originally purchased from the showroom floor. The 380,000 factory miles are due in large part to the dependable 6.2L diesel engine, a factory option. A billet grille, chrome smoothie wheels, and a Gaylord's tonneau cover are the only aftermarket parts that have been added, with stock treatments such as a suspension overhaul kit and repaint completing the upgrades. The rear bumper has become quite the conversation piece the Wilcox's have found. Ordered from the dealer, they report that they have yet to find another Fey bumper like it. Doing duty as a daily driver, their Chevy also hauls a maintenance trailer on the weekend when Karl works on Primrose Schools in Georgia, flipping the term "trailer queen" on its head.
