As we stated earlier, Joe's panel has been a daily driver work in progress, with not everything happening all at once. Such was the case when Joe got around to installing the rear suspension of his dreams. To handle the big-horsepower the rat motor makes, Joe got real lucky and ran across a four-link setup from Chris Alston's Chassisworks. The Alston fourlink combined with a set of 3.73:1 gears was the finishing touch to being able to put the horsepower to the ground.
We're just about running out of room here, but before we finish it should be mentioned Joe's panel truck was instrumental in him meeting his wife, and when things got serious she proved to be a keeper by paying for half of the 496's bill as a wedding present..
