A Quick-Fix '56
And now, a word from John Cordaro in Fairport, New York:
"Hey guys, here are a few pictures of my '56 Ford F-100. I started off by installing a 460 motor out of a '74 T-bird. The motor is balanced and blueprinted with Cobra Jet heads, it's bored .30 over, and it has an Edelbrock intake manifold with a Demon Speed Demon 725-cfm carburetor. The tranny is a C-6, and the rearend is a Lincoln 9-inch from a Versailles. I put in a TCI independent front suspension accompanied with a TCI four-link suspension in the rear. The shoes are 17-inch American Racing wheels with Goodyear scorchers. It also packs four-wheel discs for stopping power. The bed is done with stainless steel strips and maple wood. By the way, thank you for such a great magazine, helpful hints, great pictures, and always a fun read."
I guess all we can say to John is right back at ya.
