Lou Tavares of Sebastapol, California, spends his leisure time tracking down neglected old trucks and shooting photographs of them. Lou told us this '39 Willys pickup was stuffed in the weeds next door to a relative's backyard. It is interesting to note that during the mid-to-late-'60s, Lou ran the Tavares & Plount '41 Willys gasser coupe powered by a 370-inch small-block Chevy.

In next month's The End? we have rare spy photos of a kustomized '37 Ural built for Nikita Khrushchev taken by U-2 pilot Gary Powers.
