On the inside of the truck, GS took a '50 Ford dash and installed it into the cab. With the dash in, GS then built a custom console and molded the Studebaker logo into each of the lower doorjambs. Classic Instruments gauges with Painless wiring were also installed into the truck's cab. With the assembly finished, Derek Fatheree was called in to stitch the interior. The '03 Chrysler 300 seats, along with the rest of the interior, were upholstered in silk-colored UltraLeather.
You'd think that with all the work and craftsmanship put into the Studebaker, Jeff would trailer the truck around. However, that couldn't be farther from the truth. The fact of the matter is, he originally bought the truck to drive, he resurrected the truck to drive, and now that it's finished, he is doing exactly what he set out to do: drive it. And each click of the odometer is done in Studebaker style.
