Finally, everything was done-almost. The last thing on the agenda was wheels and tires. Remember when we laid out the plan for Jose's truck? It had to be all GM, but still have Jose's style incorporated as well. This is where Jose's own flavor and age play a key role. Some guys would have gone with stock rims with whitewalls, or maybe even some sort of chrome wheel with whitewalls, but not Jose. For some reason he has always dug IROC Camaro wheels, and on top of that his motto is the bigger the rim the better. Jose found a set of IROC deuces, or 22-inch rims, in laymen's terms. He wrapped the rims in Hankook 265/35 rubber and threw them on the truck. The end result is a bone-stock '65 with a lot of walk.
Just look at the golden California... Just look at the golden California sun light up all that oak wood, which is the handiwork of Antonio Canal, lined up like a bunch of beach bunnies catchin' some rays. | One of the reasons the truck... One of the reasons the truck grew on Jose is the fact that it's a fully loaded '65 Chevy. Dig that factory A/C insert-is that not bitchin' or what? As for the rest of the interior, Jose put it back to stock. | |
