Bryan's Sweet '66 - 1966 Chevy Pickup

Better Than A First Car
By John Gilbert
1966 Chevy Pickup
From the top Bryan's '66 appears to be just another nice truck. A quick peek underneath reveals his Chevy was built from the framerails up.
1966 Chevy Pickup
C10 hooligans lurk in the background as Bryan's '66 is shot right in the middle of a public road. Special thanks to the citizens of Santa Maria for the use of their street.
1966 Chevy Pickup Engine
Formerly known as Chevy Duty, Bryan replaced every stock bolt on his '66 with Bow Tie-headed bolts he bought from Classic Parts Of America. Additional grunt for the power pack 283 punched out to 301 inches comes from an Edelbrock Performer carb mated to an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold. On the inside a Crane bumpstick adds a hot-ride idle.
1966 Chevy Pickup Interior
Desert Sun Interiors stitched the two-tone grey cloth stock bench seat. The steering wheel and molded floor mat are stock as well. Notice how Saul M's Body Shop smoothed and molded every seam inside the cab before painting.
1966 Chevy Pickup Door
Stock door handles and window cranks from Classic Parts Of America add a nice touch, while the exterior Smooth Yellow color contributes to a super clean look.
1966 Chevy Pickup
Stock taillights and backup lights form a temporary distraction from custom touches like shaved stake holes, smoothed bedsides and filled bedrails. Check out how clean the '66's flip-kitted tailgate is.
1966 Chevy Pickup Wheel
Bryan's Chevy rolls on 17x8-inch chrome Rally wheels stuffed into Falken tires.
1966 Chevy Pickup Gas Cap
Beautiful is the only word to describe the stunning White Ash bed floor with blind stainless steel strips from Bruce Horkey.
