Dear Custom Classic Trucks:Wednesday afternoon, December 21, 2005, I thought the perfect getaway would be a ski trip to Terry Peak near Lead, South Dakota. Though our family was almost totally distracted by the bliss of downhill skiing, they knew I would have to take a moment to drink in a sight we all knew I would love.
Having restored two '56 Ford pickups already, I am still a welcome mat for the next possibility. This Dodge truck sits adjacent to one of the runs at this ski area-a reminder of another way to spend winter days dreaming of summer cruises.
