Rusting next to a weathered barn, a teens- or twenties-era Kleiber 1-ton truck whiles away the hours. In the small central California town of Rumsey, hobbyist and CCT subscriber Brent Anderson captured the hauler with his digital camera. The Kleiber Motor Truck Company in San Francisco built a range of full-sized trucks, the smallest of which were 3/4-ton. Later in its history, Kleiber was an important West Coast distributor for Studebaker.
If any CCT reader can pinpoint the exact year and model of this particular Kleiber, we welcome your expertise.
