Christmas Lights Included
Longtime subscriber Al Wheeler of Maynthorpe, AB, Canada, drives his '50 Ford F-1 all the time. He sent CCT the photo of his pickup in February, but still hadn't removed the truck's Christmas decorations. Do you think Al's like many homeowners who leave the lights up year 'round? It's too bad he didn't have the lights on in the photo.
Built to Honor Dad
Terry Brigance of Beechmont, Kentucky, owns a '72 Chevy Cheyenne that his dad bought new in June of 1972. Shortly after Terry and his son began work on restomoding the truck, Terry's dad passed away. After 4 1/2 years of hard work, father and son Brigance had completely renewed the truck, with a frame-off build. The rebuilt original 350ci mill now makes 320 hp. The truck rides 2.5 inches lower than stock on American Racing Torq-Thrust II rolling stock, 17x9.5 inches at each corner. After removing the truck's trim moldings and prepping the panels for paint, the father/son team sprayed the pickup in GM Pearl White. Since we're writing about the Brigances' beautiful Bow-Tie truck six days before Father's Day, it's fitting for us to wish both fathers Brigance a Happy Father's Day!
