Billet Specialties created...
Billet Specialties created 20x12-inch custom five-spoke wheels for this outrageous red ride. Note the Wilwood cross-drilled ventilated discs and billet calipers.
The bright-red paint is appropriately Ferrari Red by DuPont, and we say appropriately because this redheaded hauler has the look of a thoroughbred that can prance. There are plenty of fire-breathing ponies under the hood in the form of an '03 Chevy LS1 backed by a Bowler's Performance 700-R4 tranny.
A Magnuson supercharger with an intake manifold and a Superchips ignition feed the LS1 a high-performance air/fuel mixture and spine-tingling electronic charge. Rewarder headers and Flowmaster mufflers exhaust the spent gasses through polished stainless steel tubes and exhaust ports located in the rear fenders.
The abbreviated bed is a custom creation with widened rear fenders and a narrowed Speedway Engineering rearend that's mounted with a Scott's four-bar with billet rod ends. Notice the flush-mounted taillamps and the center-mounted third brake lamp. Up front, there are custom-fabricated horizontal grille bars that are the only bright metal on the entire truck's exterior besides the polished billet wheels. Auto City Glass installed the windshield (no side glass).
All this custom metalwork resulted in the truck being affectionately named Heavy Metal 1 by the shop. There is no doubt that the entire Scott's crew is enjoying the attention brought by not only the awards and special invitations, but also by the appreciation of metal-massaged truck lovers everywhere. Justin wanted to add some...

Justin wanted to add some functional cooling ports to the pancaked hood. He decided to add these three sculptured portholes on each side, reminiscent of the Buick portholes of the '50s.

Mercedes E-Class headlamps...

Mercedes E-Class headlamps provide excellent night vision and add a tastefully modern appearance to the front of the truck. The modified front bumper was molded to the custom center panel. Note the amber turn indicators located behind the curved glass lens. Saticoy Auto Body applied the DuPont Ferrari Red paint.
