MSRA 38th Annual Show - Beboppin’ Back To The Fifties

Ray Boucher of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, gets the one-off award for his 1948 Fargo.

John Hastad of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, is the proud owner of this beautiful black unibody. Chrome reverse smoothies, a lowered stance, and a red and white interior set, this 1961 Ford F-100 was set apart.

We like the two-toned green paint scheme on Bob Wamhoff’s 1941 Chevrolet.

We really like the style of Mark Schefter’s 1949 Studebaker from Fargo, North Dakota.

The subtlety of Gilles Dupras’ Winnipeg–based 1957 Mercury caught our eye.

Dave Spooner of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, had his custom ’51 Chevrolet loaded up with an equally custom motorcycle.

There were a number of off-brand trucks at the show that really got our attention, including Doug and Andrea O’Shea’s 1947 International from Lake Elmo, Minnesota.

Or how about a ’41 Ford for under $7,000 complete with a running Flathead?

Willys pickups are just plain cool, especially 409-powered ones. This ’42 belongs to Lonnie Cabb of Eagan, Minnesota, and runs a straight-axle and open headers.
