GoodGuys Car Show - Good Guys Oc

Ordinarily, when we send a photographer to a rod and custom show like the one the Goodguys held for the very first time at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, California, the guy is going to walk around to all the trucks and take as many pictures as possible. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case when we assigned our very own Associate Editor Dakota Wentz to cover the show. You see, exotic ethnic foods are very popular in Southern California, and when you throw in the diverse mix of cuisine available from strange foreign lands, sometimes a person can ingest something that might be just a little too rich for their intestines to metabolize in a non-gaseous manner.

As things turned out, this was what happened to young Cody after he located a funky little kiosk selling sweet-and-sour cabbage burritos and spent almost an entire week's pay loading up on the flour tortilla-wrapped mystery bags, ending up with an advanced case of acute gastrointestinal cramps.

Now if this had been your typical run-of-the mill location where everybody has to park their show vehicles and sit there in a chair all day, this could have meant it was all over for Custom Classic Trucks' coverage of the Goodguys' OC show. Fortunately, though, the Orange County Fairgrounds is one of those rare venues with a cruise route through the entire park that allows people to hop into their hot rods or customized classic trucks and cruise right past any magazine types who might be confined to sticking close to a restroom...yep, that's right, every one of these pictures was taken from the same spot.
