Last Year's Best of Show-winning truck, a Prowler Orange '55 Chevy Stepside, owned by Jurgen Broesel, was on display again. Jurgen's awesome 427ci big-block- powered ride was featured in the Jun. '04 issue of CCT. We enjoyed seeing Jurgen and his hot rod hauler atop the hill of the amphitheatre. Rumor has it he's interested in building something else. Hmmmm.  The ghost flames on Hector's...  The ghost flames on Hector's Candy Tangerine '57 Chevy truck had us howling praises to the professional painter.  If you're talking a Tri-Five...  If you're talking a Tri-Five Chevy car or truck, the color turquoise goes well. Jerry Apodaca's '55 Stepside shows superior fit, finish and paint.  We didn't hear the small-block...  We didn't hear the small-block Chevy engine powering Mr. Apodaca's turquoise hauler, but we'd guess it sounds as sweet as it looks.  Drum roll please; the Best...  Drum roll please; the Best 47-54 truck prize belonged to Jim Nelson for his '47 Chevy.  We saw several 2WD Chevy Blazers...  We saw several 2WD Chevy Blazers that had us salivating, like the school bus-yellow '72 Blazer owned by Gracie and Tony Koutroulis.  What goes with mustard? Ketchup....  What goes with mustard? Ketchup. Steve Edmondson is the current caretaker of a radiant red '71 Chevy Blazer.  In his Antique Blue-painted...  In his Antique Blue-painted '56 Chevy Stepside, Earl Woodford pulled alongside a big old yellow GMC Semi. Don't ask us how old the Semi was-we have no clue!
