The truck had excellent paint prep; note the even body panel gaps and absence of body waves.  Earning a Best 47-54 Restored...  Earning a Best 47-54 Restored Honorable Mention was John Nevins' '53 Chevy hauler. For some reason we're suddenly very thirsty. Refreshing.  For the past couple of years...  For the past couple of years we've been fortunate to photograph Bill Mitchell's photogenic copper-colored '68 Chevy Fleetside.  As evidenced by James Morales'...  As evidenced by James Morales' carefully crafted pickup, Tangelo Orange is an excellent color to paint a '71 Chevy C10 longbed.  We featured Karen and Doug...  We featured Karen and Doug Barnett's banana-colored '57 Chevy 1/2-ton in the Dec. '03 issue of CCT. The Barnetts also own a beauteous '57 Chevy panel delivery. Doug painted both of the trucks himself. They reside in Long Beach, CA.  When this young hot rod hauler...  When this young hot rod hauler hobbyist-to-be took a break from admiring the Chevy and GMC haulers, he amused himself by visiting the Bounce House.  Several nice Suburbans were...  Several nice Suburbans were on display. Alexandra and Robert Flores own a turquoise and gray '67 Suburban that rolls on big billet wheels.  The cover truck for the Mar....  The cover truck for the Mar. '05 issue of CCT was David Gongora's '56 Chevy panel delivery. If memory serves, David also attended last year's event.  Best 60-66 belonged to Carlos...  Best 60-66 belonged to Carlos Sacchetto for his really red '65 GMC.  We captured most of the Bow...  We captured most of the Bow Ties streaming into the park before the show started. Perhaps we missed out on a bit of shut-eye, but our shutter fingers worked overtime. Can you blame us?  Throughout the one-day show,...  Throughout the one-day show, the Brothers Trucks booth was packed with GMC/Bow Tie pickup fans and astute Brothers employees.  The 47-54 Best Paint top honors...  The 47-54 Best Paint top honors went to Bridgette Patterson's Tangelo Pearl '49 Chevy 3100. Well done, Bridgette and Abbie!
