By selecting Smitty's Custom Automotive to construct his '59 Chevy Fleetside, Bill Blewett of Painesville, OH, did the opposite of blowing it. He hit a home run!

Maroon is another tricky color to paint a pickup; it can look too muddy or too vintage. The Bowens, David and his wife, of Covington, KY, have a '72 Chevy Fleetside that wears a most appealing shade of maroon.

The company that put on the show, Air Ride Technologies, displayed its array of industry- leading air-ride suspension components throughout the entire event.
